What is the difference between wax and ceramic wax sealant?
Traditional wax typically lasts 4–6 weeks. Our ceramic wax sealant is polymer-based and bonds more strongly to your paint, giving you 2–6 months of protection depending on the package. For long-term protection, our professional ceramic coating service offers 2–9 years of coverage.
What does clay bar treatment do?
Clay bar physically removes contaminants bonded to your paint that soap and water can’t lift — things like brake dust, industrial fallout, tree sap, and road tar. After clay bar treatment, your paint feels smooth like glass, and products like wax or ceramic coating bond much more effectively.
How long does an exterior detail take?
Wash & Wax takes about 1.5–2 hours. Premium Exterior takes 2–3 hours. Luxury Exterior takes 3–4 hours. We work at your home or office so your time isn’t wasted.
Should I add ceramic coating after an exterior detail?
Yes — exterior detailing (especially Luxury Exterior with paint enhancement) creates the ideal surface for ceramic coating. Adding a 2-year, 5-year, or 9-year coating after polishing locks in that gloss and protects your paint from San Diego’s UV for years.
